Overview

Primary Objective:  Obtain sales targets by driving Nonin product through sales distributors and independent sales representatives. 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Drive the attainment of company sales goals and profitability with direct and distributor sales.  
    • Develop and solidify business relationships at the national and regional levels as appropriate to ensure company products are vital to customer business and revenue generating plans.
    • Implement programs with distribution sales partners to maximize effectiveness of the allocation of resources
    • Negotiate and execute contracts to establish new partners and improve performance of existing partners
    • Assess value and contribution of existing partnerships and make changes when necessary.
  • Partner with product management to identify, establish and roll out revenue generating marketing campaigns to distributors.
  • Share market feedback to product marketing management and sales leadership.
  • Gain and maintain market understanding and develop business plans and strategies which assure the attainment of company sales goals. Plans must include identification of market opportunity, market development, market segmentation, distribution, pricing, channel management and effective communication.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations with customers, agencies and distributors working with legal counsel as required.
  • Respond and resolve questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Provide revenue reports to leadership as required.
  • Forecast revenue to sales management.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, sciences or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience.
  • 5 years of sales, marketing or business management experience in the medical /sciences industry.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven business analysis and judgment and the ability to proactively manage business revenue to meet objectives.
  • Relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills.
  • Professional and positive approach, self motivated, strong in building relationships, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Business related computer skills including CRM, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of US sales, marketing and business management experience in the physician office space, including familiarity with trends, technologies, products and players involving direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Strong preference for experience improving sales performance through national physician office distribution partners.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit/stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours/day.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time via car and plane.
