Primary Objective:

The Marketing Communications Intern will be responsible for assisting the corporate communications team with various projects and tasks.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop copy and content for content marketing initiatives including: website copy, blog posts, social media posts, e-mail/newsletters, product descriptions and other promotional materials.
  • Maintain files on drives, intranet, extranet and websites.
  • Edit website copy and images.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining content/copy process from start to finish, including internal revisions, legal approval, technical updates, etc.
  • Work on digital marketing calendar, brainstorm ideas for new and innovative campaigns.
  • Help gather and report on digital marketing analytics.
  • Assist in planning and logistics of corporate tradeshows.
  • Manage tradeshow collateral and inventory.
  • Manage and execute assigned tasks within product/campaign launch activities.
  • Assist in processing vendors and payments.
  • Work with external vendors to manage outsourced tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Current college Sophomore or Junior studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and tasks effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Beginners knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Basic understanding of business use of social media platforms, SEO and e-mail marketing.
